This charming coastal conversion located on Naples Island in Long Beach tasked us with skillfully planning to move the kitchen from the first floor to the second floor where the clients spend most of their time. The downstairs kitchen space was replaced with a sophisticated bar creating the ultimate entertainment lounge, complete with a contemporary fireplace and jellyfish-esque crystal pendant lights. The new kitchen, now located upstairs, is highly functional as well as beautiful. The island faces out to the cozy living and dining area in such an organic way, you would never know that it hadn’t always been there. A new powder room was added for guests while the master suite received an update with fresh new color on the walls and cabinetry. Crisp, white shiplap accented by dark metal fixtures, evocative of old boat anchors, pays homage to the sea and boasts a contemporary yet classic aesthetic.
